Asset allocation product specialist Ibbotson Associates has announced the promotions of three company veterans, Mike Barad, Lori Howard and Scott Majeski, to vice president. Barad is now in charge of presentation materials and publications, Howard heads up software quality assurance, and Majeski is head of the investment management services group.
Barad has been with Ibbotson since 1998, when he came to the company from Merrill Lynch. He is also an author and has testified as an expert witness on behalf of Ibbotson. Howard came to the company in 2000 and has since designed and staffed all aspects of the software quality assurance department. Majeski is also a four-year company veteran, and has played a key role in the explosive growth of the company's investment management services group, the firm said.
