NICSA Offers 58% Discount On Mutual Fund Certificate Program

The National Investment Company Service Association (NICSA) is offering a 58% discount on its Mutual Fund Industry Specialist Certificate Program through May 31 for companies that enroll five employees or more. The limited-time discount lowers the standard $1,200 tuition by $700 to just $500 a person.

"This offer will enable firms to take the MFIS Certificate Program for a true test drive and learn how useful and valuable the MFIS Certificate can be in terms of elevating a company’s base level of mutual fund knowledge," said Barbara Weidlich, president of NICSA.

"The MFIS Certificate Program is a comprehensive, cost-effective, online program that companies can use to manage training costs, increase productivity and ultimately acquire and retain customers," added Greg Titus, president and CEO of Acadient, which manages the technology for NICSA’s certificate program. "What’s more, the MFIS Certificate Program is extremely flexible. Companies can use it [for] enterprise-wide training or for [individual] employee development."

The program is comprised of 14 courses covering the history, regulations, providers, distribution and marketing of mutual funds [see MFMN 11/19/01, 4/22/02].
