Northern Trust has promoted Darius Gill to managing director of the Foundation & Institutional Advisors group in the Central Region, which includes Illinois, Michigan, Minnesota, Ohio, Missouri and Wisconsin.
Foundation & Institutional Advisors is an investment advisory and asset servicing group focused on middle-market non-profit institutions such as foundations, endowments, schools and healthcare organizations.
Gill will oversee the growth of the business, which currently serves more than 160 clients with assets under management of approximately $5 billion. Most recently, he served as a Senior Investment Officer in the Foundation & Institutional Advisors group, managing a team of portfolio managers within the Central Region. He joined Northern Trust in 2007 as a senior portfolio manager.
