John Nuveen & Co. has added 10 new equity defined portfolios to its selection of unit investment trusts.
The new products are sector portfolios made up of the Nuveen Sector Portfolios and the Nuveen Dow Jones Sector Portfolios. Defined portfolios are unit investment trusts with a fixed selection of stocks or bonds.
The Nuveen Sector Portfolios will invest in the communications, consumer electronics, Internet, retail and semiconductor industries.
The Nuveen Dow Jones Sector Portfolios will focus on energy, financial services, pharmaceuticals, precious metals and technology.
