Pentegra Bolsters its Sales Team

Pentegra Retirement Services has hired Pete Swisher to serve as senior vice president for national sales.

The firm touts Swisher’s frequent speaking engagements as his experience working with financial advisors as important advantages for growing Pentegra’s business nationally.

“Pete is well-known nationally as one of the industry’s top retirement plan experts, and is a well-respected speaker and thought leader within the retirement community,” said Pentegra president and chief executive Robert Albanese, in a statement.

“With extensive experience in all facets of the business, we believe he will play a key role in helping us take this organization to a new level—particularly in terms of his ability to help position Pentegra for accelerated growth and expanded presence in the advisor-sold space.”

Before joining Pentegra, Swisher spent nearly 12-years at United Trust Company, where he served as vice president and senior institutional consultant.

Pentegra was originally founded by the Federal Home Loan Bank System in 1943 to offer a retirement program for its own employees. Now it manages more than 1,200 retirement plans with over $6.5 billion in retirement plan assets.
