PIMCO is teaming up retirement technology platform providers Aria Retirement Solutions and insurer Transamerica Advisors Life Insurance Company to market retirement income products to asset-based fee-only Registered Investment Advisors.
“For asset-based fee-only financial advisors, guaranteed retirement-income options have been few and far between,” stated David Stone, chief executive officer of Aria Retirement Solutions. “But RIAs now manage more than $1 trillion in client assets and they want solutions that fit their business.”
“Through Aria's patent-pending platform technology and sales/support services, RIAs can now refer appropriate clients to a lifetime income solution derived by pairing an insurance guarantee with a portfolio of PIMCO products managed by the RIA," stated Dave Paulsen, chief executive officer of Transamerica Capital.
