Putnam Investments of Boston is offering more of its funds through fee-based advisors. The company has added C shares to 32 of its funds, almost doubling the number of funds it offers fee-based planners.

Now almost all of the Putnam funds, 49 in total, carry C shares. The only ones that do not are some of the Putnam single-state municipal bond funds and most that are closed to new investors.
