Raymond James grabs $331M team from Wells Fargo

A team managing $331 million in client assets has joined Raymond James & Associates after parting ways with Wells Fargo, according to a company spokeswoman.

Their career change builds on Raymond James’ aggressive hiring push as the firm recently reeled in advisors overseeing more than $900 million in client assets. Meanwhile, Wells Fargo is struggling with advisor attrition. Headcount at the end of the first quarter dropped to 13,828 from 14,399 for the year-ago period, a 4.1% decline.

Raymond James’ new team operates as Precision Wealth Management and is comprised of Marc Hallick, Romain Spell, Tyler Jackson and Andrea Patrick.

Hallick has 15 years of experience in the industry and spent time at Morgan Stanley before joining Wells Fargo, according to FINRA BrokerCheck records.

Spell brings a decade of financial services experience to the firm and has worked at Edward Jones in addition to Wells Fargo.

Jackson has spent the majority of his 12-year career at Wells Fargo while Patrick has worked at the wirehouse for the entirety of her 10 year career.

“After conducting thorough due diligence and evaluating several firms, it became apparent that there was only one firm where our whole team agreed we would be happy and be able to serve our clients as we wish and as they deserve,” said Hallick.

Also moving with the team are senior registered client service associate Nancy Tush, senior client service associate Dody Davison, and marketing associates Teresa Davis and Marilyn Mayfield.

A spokesperson at Wells Fargo did not respond to a request for comment on the departures.
