Advisor Cynthia Woodsmall Jones joined Raymond James in Columbus, Ga., having previously managed over $435 million in client assets.

Jones, who operates as senior vice president, investments, brings over three decades of experience to the role. She started her career at Robinson-Humphrey in 1981, stayed with that firm after it merged with Citigroup in 2002, and ultimately landed at Morgan Stanley through successive mergers.

In a statement, she said she moved to Raymond James because it was similar to the firm where she started.

“It reminded me of an earlier time in my career, when my firm offered the combination of a client-first focus, a collegial family atmosphere and the highest quality technology and operations support,” she said.

Joining her is her registered sales associate, Brenda Meadows. Together, they focus on asset management and retirement needs of high-net-worth as well as corporate retirement assets and 401(k) plans.
