Salient Partners has made a new addition to its institutional sales team. Jill Cohen will take the role of director of institutional sales, a new role. She will be based in Salient’s New York office.

Cohen’s appointment is part of Salient’s ongoing growth of its institutional sales team, which coincides with the overall expansion of the firm’s product lineup.

“As we continue to grow the number and variety of investment strategies on our platform, Salient will offer even more opportunities for institutional investors to potentially achieve risk-managed returns and additional diversification,” Lee Partridge, Salient’s chief investment officer, said in a press release.

Before joining Salient, Cohen spent five years at CitiGroup as a director within its prime brokerage unit and also served as head of the firm’s capital introductions team for the Americas.
