Schroders Launches Two More US Funds

London-based Schroders, has launched two new funds as part of the firm's ongoing North American expansion.

The first is the Schroder U.S. Small and Mid Cap Opportunities Fund, managed by the firm's New York-based small- and mid- cap team headed by Jenny Jones. The second is the Schroder Emerging Markets Equity Fund, managed by a London-based Schroders team, which is led by Allan Conway. The firm has also renamed its international equity fund the Schroder International Alpha Fund, as a means of illustrating the firm's re-branding.

The Schroder U.S. Large Cap Equity Fund is going to be liquidated on or about April 27.

"We believe Schroders is an ideal partner for intermediary distributors who are looking for a fundamental equity, fixed income and quantitative product from an independent asset management firm," said Jamie Dorrien-Smith, global head of financial institutions. "We continue to broaden and refine our North American fund line-up to give them full access to Schroders' expertise and capabilities."
