Schwab Introduces Website, Ad Campaign Aimed at Women

Charles Schwab & Co. of San Francisco has introduced a new website and accompanying national print advertising campaign aimed at women, the company has announced.

Schwab's new "Women Investing Now" website has interactive workshops, weekly forums and articles on finance written by women, Schwab announced. The site, which went live Oct. 20, also enables individuals to e-mail questions to investment advisors.

In conjunction with the website, Schwab, on Oct. 16, introduced a national print advertising campaign.

Schwab developed the website and the advertising campaign as a result of a telephone survey of 904 women investors it conducted in March in conjunction with Harris Interactive of Rochester, N.Y.
