Scout Adds Distribution Chief

Scout Investments has found new leadership for its institutional distribution team.

Toby Cromwell will serve as head of institutional distribution and client service, leading the global institutional and sub-advisory distribution business at the Kansas City, Mo.-based firm. Cromwell's duty will cover consultant and client relationship management.

Prior to Scout, Cromwell spearheaded the institutional defined contribution investment only strategy for Columbia Management, focusing on consultant relations and business development.

"Hiring Toby demonstrates our strategic commitment to continue growing Scout’s institutional business with a strong and experienced leadership team,” said Andy Iseman, chief executive officer of Scout Investments, in a press release.

Scout manages $25 billion in equity and fixed income investment strategies for institutions and individual investors through separate accounts and mutual funds.
