Exchange-traded fund flows topped $298 billion in January, according to State Street Global Advisors’ latest ETF Snapshot.

The developed and emerging market categories had a strong moth garnering $5.4 billion and 6.9 billion respectively. The Divided/Fundamental category had $3.9 billion in inflows last month.

The top three managers in the US ETF market were BlackRock, State Street and Vanguard. Collectively, they account for some 84% of the US-listed ETF market.
