SSgA Preps a Trio of ETFs

State Street Global Advisors is prepping three new SPDR exchange-traded funds to launch early next year.

According to a Securities and Exchange Commission filing, the firm is launching the SPDR SSgA Risk Aware ETF, which will bet on equity securities included in the Russell 3000 Index; the SPDR SSgA Large Cap Risk Aware ETF, which will bet on equity securities included in the Russell 1000 Index; and the SPDR SSgA Small Cap Risk Aware ETF, which will bet on equity securities included in the Russell 2000 Index.

All three funds will be managed by Gary Lowe, Simon Roe, and John O’Connell. The funds’ fees were not disclosed in the filing.
