MetLife of New York and its subsidiary State Street Research & Management Company of Boston announced that Richard S. Davis will assume the position of president and CEO of State Street Research Nov. 1.
As MetLife's senior vice president for fixed income, Davis oversees $100 billion in assets under management. Davis will replace Jeffrey J. Hodgman, an executive vice president with MetLife who has been interim CEO for State Street since May, said Robyn Tice, a spokesperson for State Street Research.
Davis joined MetLife only last year. Previously, he worked with J.P. Morgan Investment Management, where he assumed a variety of roles and duties.
