Surfs Up For FPA Investors

Los Angeles, Calif.-based First Pacific Advisors is inviting its investors to spend a day at the beach with the firm. Specifically, the firm is holding its first Investor Day on Monday, May 21, at the Hotel Casa Del Mar in Santa Monica, Calif.

According to the firm’s agenda, during the day, each of FPA's portfolio managers will give a presentation covering their philosophy, current thinking and positioning. Each session will also feature a Q&A discussion with the managers. As well, the firm will probably tout its latest offering, the FPA International Value Fund, which bets on absolute value opportunities across international markets, including both developed and emerging countries, according to the firm.

To cap it all off, the firm is hosting a dinner for all attendees that evening.

“For the past 28 years, we have always enjoyed and benefited from the discussions arising from our individual meetings with investors. Our Investor Day will be a unique opportunity for all of us to exchange ideas as well as allow for more casual conversations over lunch and dinner,” according to the firm.

FPA currently manages $18 billion across four equity strategies and one fixed income strategy.
