The Hartford Introduces Three Target Retirement Funds

The Hartford has launched three new target retirement funds, along with a retirement income fund, specifically aimed at the 77 million Baby Boomers. They are The Hartford Target Retirement 2010 Fund, The Hartford Target Retirement 2020 Fund, The Hartford Target Retirement 2030 Fund and The Hartford Retirement Income Fund. While The Hartford will act as sub-advisor to these funds-of-funds, Ibbotson Associates will act as consultant.

"Our most recent survey of investors showed that their main concerns were making sure they did not outlive assets," said Mary Jane Fortin, senior vice president of mutual funds at 529 programs at The Hartford. "The Hartford's new retirement funds will help investors achieve these important goals."
