Thrivent Offers EM Equities Fund

Thrivent Asset Management has launched the Thrivent Partner Emerging Markets Equity Fund, which will be subadvised by DuPont Capital Management Corporation, according to a Securities and Exchange Commission filing.

The fund will generally invest in companies with market capitalizations of $100 million or more and sports a net operating expense of 179 basis points. It is managed by Rafi Zaman, senior portfolio manager, Global Equities, at DuPont.

"Emerging markets has evolved into an attractive growth opportunity," Dan Chouanard, Director of product solutions at Thirvent, told Money Management Executive.

Thrivent Asset is an indirect wholly owned subsidiary of Thrivent Financial for Lutherans, a not-for-profit, Fortune 500 financial services membership organization, and managed approximately $76 billion in assets as of December 31, 2011, including approximately $27 billion in mutual fund assets.
