Transamerica Retirement Services has added 38 new stock and bond options to its investment platform for company-sponsored retirement plans, the company said in a statement.
Plan sponsors will now have a wider selection of international, emerging markets and sector stocks to choose from. They’ll also have more types of fixed income, including TIPS and floating-rate investments.
Transamerica, which works with more than 40 investment advisory firms, “continually reviews our investment platform in order to meet the needs of advisors, sponsors and participants,” said Stig Nybo, Transamerica Retirement Services’ president. “By enhancing our equity and fixed income investment offerings, we are deepening coverage in investment styles and providing diverse investment choices for small and mid-market retirement plans.”
