Transamerica Completes Adoption of TS&W International Equity Fund

Transamerica Asset Management, having completed its adoption of the TS&W International Equity Portfolio, has re-introduced the fund as the Transamerica TS&W International Equity Fund.

The fund will continue to be sub-advised by value manager Thompson, Siegel & Walmsey, with an international team headed by Brandon Harrell running the fund.

The fund takes a value investment strategy and is benchmarked against the Morgan Stanley Capital International Europe, Australasia and Far East Index.

“We understand that clients today are seeking international investment opportunities that provide both value and growth potential,” said Dave Paulsen, chief sales officer of Transamerica Capital. “The typical U.S. investor is under-exposed to international markets. TS&W provides investors access to global diversification through the fund’s unique investment philosophy.”

Transamerica President and CEO John K. Carter added: “We are pleased that our partnership with TS&W and our fund adoption was such a success. The adoption showcases one of our long-term strategies that puts an emphasis on our core strengths and award-winning infrastructure. We continue to evaluate other potential fund adoption opportunities to complement our business partners and their customers.”
