Two former UBS advisers opened a new office for Memphis-based firm Wunderlich, as the regional wealth management company continues its expansion.

The long-time financial professionals, Kelly Graham and Ed Johnson, managed a total of approximately $70 million in assets at UBS, according to a Wunderlich spokeswoman. Graham brings more than 28 years’ experience to her new company and Johnson recently topped 33 years in the industry, according to FINRA’s BrokerCheck database.
The firm's latest hires will staff a new office in Nashville, Tenn., making it Wunderlich's second office in the area. Irene Griffis, a Wunderlich managing director, says the firm is “excited” to have the duo join the firm. She adds, “As we continue to grow our footprint in Nashville, their expertise and long-lasting client relationships will truly be an asset to the firm.”

Graham began her career at Thomson McKinnon, which was later acquired by Prudential. She began working at UBS in 2001, according to BrokerCheck records. Johnson also began his career at Thomson McKinnon, stayed on through its acquisition by Prudential, and left for J.C. Bradford before it was acquired by PaineWebber — which was in turn acquired by UBS, according to BrokerCheck records.
UBS declined to comment on the departure of Graham and Johnson.
