The Vanguard Group of Valley Forge, Pa. has redesigned its website, vanguard.com, in an effort to improve institutional and retail investors' ability to navigate the site, the firm announced recently.

The new site will make it easier for investors to access accounts and gather information about their funds, according to the company.

Some new features include links that will direct investors to frequently visited pages of the website. The links will direct investors to pages that include account data, fund performance, and news on Vanguard. The "My Fund Watch" section of the website will include a new year-to-date performance column and the funds' change in net asset value from the previous day.

"Vanguard's new site design, which resulted from extensive usability tests, offers both personal investors and institutional clients easier navigation to Vanguard's wide array of online resources," said Tim Buckley, a principal with Vanguard's web services division.
