Wells Fargo Advisors has hired Morgan Stanley Smith Barney financial advisor Floyd Gilbert Bickel in Frontenac, Mo.

Bickel, who prefers to be called “Gil,” joined Wells Fargo on Nov. 15 after more than 40 years in the industry, the firm said. Bickel most recently oversaw $129 million in client assets and had $930,000 in annual fees and commissions.
He served at Morgan Stanley for more than eight years, according to his public registration records with the Financial Industry Regulatory Authority, and was with Merrill Lynch before that for 15 years.
Bickel reports to Wells Fargo branch manager Seth Barnes.
