Jared Winkers graduated from the University of Northern Iowa in 2021 at the age of 19 and later that year became the youngest person ever to pass the CFP exam. He has had a passion for finance and planning since high school, when he first started investing and doing his own taxes. All aspects of financial planning are incredibly interesting to him, but his focus is on helping middle-market business owners manage their personal and estate taxes, retain key employees, and transition into retirement.

Ken Van Leeuwen founded Van Leeuwen & Company in 1997. As the firm's managing director, founder and financial advisor, he is responsible for the overall strategic direction of the firm as well as serving his clients, who include corporate executives, nonprofit organizations and foreign citizens who have made the U.S. their home.

Lisa V. Zivkovic is an associate in Morrison Foerster's Privacy + Data Security Group, where she advises clients across industries, including financial services and fintech, on issues at the forefront of privacy and cybersecurity. She holds a Ph.D. from New York University in the history of data privacy in the United States and Europe.

Érica Carnevalli is a spring reporting associate at Financial Planning. She is a graduate student in the business and economic reporting program at New York University. A native of Brazil, she has also worked at Brazilian publications and interned at CNBC Investigations in New York.

Salene Hitchcock-Gear is president of Prudential Individual Life Insurance, a unit of the financial services company that offers consumers a diverse portfolio of life insurance products. She is an insurance industry veteran with more than 30 years of experience.

Teresa Bailey is a Senior Wealth Strategist and Director of Development at Waddell & Associates, orchestrating the financial affairs of clients and building the W&A brand. 

Jenny Xia Spradling is the co-founder and co-CEO of Free Will, a social good enterprise at the nexus of philanthropy and estate planning that helps charities fundraise from complex assets, including bequests in wills. Previously, she was with price-tracking app-maker Paribus in analytics, product development and marketing. Before that, she worked at Bain Capital and McKinsey & Co.

Gino DeRango, a senior vice president of Axos Advisor Services, in Centennial, Colorado, has more than 25 years of experience in the financial services industry via roles including sales, relationship management, sales leadership and strategic initiatives at TD Ameritrade Institutional and, more recently, Goldman Sachs. 

Monnencia S. Riley, market director and financial advisor with the Thrivent Great Lakes Advisor Group in Iron River, Michigan, has worked in the financial services industry for 15 years. She is passionate about bridging the wealth gap to assist with the economic disparity the United States faces and believes that working together across cultures will help achieve those objectives.
