  • Ben Cortez is Executive Vice President at Southwest Airlines Federal Credit Union.� He is responsible for the areas of Facilities Management, Information Technology and Marketing.� Mr. Cortez has worked in the Credit Union Industry for over 25 years in various management capacities which include Information Technology, Operations and Finance.� He recently served as the Board President of the Dallas Chapter of Credit Unions having spent the last seven years on the Board.Ben has a Bachelor’s of Business Administration from the University of Texas at Arlington.

  • Jack Albers serves as Payments Counsel at PayPal. His primary responsibility is to advise and partner with the Consumer Product business unit in developing innovative products and services for PayPal’s consumer customers. Jack’s practice covers topics such as federal and state consumer protection laws, state licensing of money service businesses, privacy laws, AML/KYC obligations, and industry standards such as the NACHA Operating Rules. Prior to joining CFSI, Theresa worked in nonprofit and affordable housing development at Affirmative Investments, Inc. There she worked with public and private funding sources to expand opportunities for low-income populations. Theresa earned a Master of Public Policy from Loyola University Chicago and a Bachelor of Arts in Sociology from Boston College.
