HighTower Adds $300 Million Merrill Advisors
HighTower has added a husband-and-wife advisor duo with $300 million in assets under management to its New York City office.
RJ Wealth Management, previously at Merrill Lynch, is led by husband and wife Jeffrey Vogel and Ruth Berger, comes from Merrill Lynch where they managed roughly $300 million in assets. Joining with RJ Wealth Management are registered senior client associate Sadie Lanzet and client associate Chris DiCostanzi.

UBS Bags $2.6M Producers From Merrill Lynch
UBS has nabbed a former Bank of America Merrill Lynch team that has $2.6 million in production.
The Grueninger Group will join UBS at its Beverly Hills, California, office. The group consists of Mark Grueninger, senior vice president, Ben Sauer, wealth strategist, and Mariam Aziz, client service associate.
Grueninger started his career in the financial services industry as a trainee when he was 21-years-old. The group specializes in retirement planning and family trusts.

Dynasty Nabs $300 Million Wells Fargo Team
Dynasty Financial Partners nabbed a former Wells Fargo advisor team that managed $300 million in client assets.
Concentus Wealth Advisors, a suburban Philadelphia team, has left Wells Fargo Advisors to join outsourcer Dynasty’s network of high-end advisory firms. The team includes members Erik Strid, CFP, Gerald Strid, Paul Strid, Nathan Hayward, CFP, and Thomas Greco.
Concentus principal Erik Strid says he talked to other firms but went with Dynasty because the firm's partners wanted "control of our destiny -- we wanted to own our own equity."

Raymond James Lands $2 Million Producers
Raymond James landed an advisor team with $225 million in assets under management from Morgan Stanley.
The Walsh Group will open Raymond James’ first branch in Buffalo, N.Y. While at Morgan Stanley, the group had annual fees and commissions of $2 million.
Team member Peter Walsh has been in the financial services since 1984. Lisa Walsh was an account executive at ADP before working for the last 19 years at Morgan Stanley.
Also joining are Jennifer York, senior registered financial planning assistant, and Kasandra Crosby, client service associate.

Merrill Lynch Lands Advisor Duo With $400 Million AUM
Merrill Lynch has landed a Morgan Stanley advisor duo with $400 million in assets under management and more than $1 million in production.
Michael Bromberg and Daniel Gerschel will join Merrill at the company’s Rockefeller Center Complex where they will report to Michael Simonds.

Focus Partner Firm Recruits $100 Million RBC Advisor
Sapient Private Wealth Management recruited a former RBC Wealth Management financial advisor with $100 million in assets under management, bringing the RIAs total AUM to approximately $700 million.
Ross Anderle, CFP, is joining Sapient, which is a partner firm with Focus Financial Partners, a network of independent wealth management firms. The Sapient team, based in Eugene, Ore., left Morgan Stanley in 2010 via Focus Financials Focus Connections program, which assists breakaway advisor teams from the wirehouse to independent worlds.

RBC Wealth Management Recruits Teams With $635 Million AUM
The second RBC Wealth Management team recruited from Morgan Stanley to its Austin, Texas, office is the Marwill Wittek Group.
Tim Marwill, CFP, and Eric Wittek comprise the Marwill Wittek Group.
The new hires join three other advisors at the same Austin office that RBC recruited in January.

RBC Wealth Management Recruits Teams With $635 Million AUM
RBC Wealth Management recruited two Morgan Stanley advisor teams with a combined $635 million in assets under management and more than $3.4 million in production.
The Lone Star Group, joining RBC at its Austin, Texas, office, includes advisors John Riffle, Patrick Easter, CFP, Terry Sherman, CFP, CFA, and Mike Roche.
