The Women Advisors Forum website at womenadvisorforum.ning.com provides an exclusive community where female advisors can network, blog and share their thoughts on the industry. It also allows members to tap into what is happening at the Women Advisors Forum conference series.

Riek, whose firm is affiliated with Raymond James Financial Services, has more than 10 years of experience in the financial and insurance industries. In joining the online Women Advisors Forum community, she says, "I look to broaden my skills, plus gain exposure and support in terms of literature, webinars and mentoring."

Women Advisors Forums are set this year for April in New York, May in Dallas, October in Chicago and November in Southern California. Dates and locations will be announced soon.

"We strive to create a community atmosphere at our events where women can network and share their professional experiences," says Lorie Konish, the forum's community editor who's also managing editor of On Wall Street, a sister publication of Financial Planning. "The Women Advisors Forum website is designed to extend that experience for our event attendees, as well as continue to build a strong network with even more women advisors."
