Morgan Stanley reorganized its wealth management leadership, according to a memo sent to employees on Thursday.

The moves come weeks after President Greg Fleming left the wirehouse amid a shakeup of the firm's highest leadership.

The memo from wealth management co-heads Shelley O'Connor and Andy Saperstein states that the regional and complex structure remains unchanged. But leadership roles have shifted. Among those changes:

  • Vince Lumia, head of the firm's Private Wealth Management unit, is taking on responsibility for the Strategic Lead Management Group.
  • Ben Huneke is now head of Investment Solutions. Chris Randazzo will serve as head of Institutional Wealth Solutions in addition to his current role as CIO for Wealth Management.
  • Lisa Golia is becoming chief administrative officer for the firm's wealth management unit. She replaces Adam Kudelka, who is taking on new responsibilities in Investment Solutions.

The memo by O'Connor and Saperstein also noted the new addition of Naureen Hassan, who recently joined Morgan Stanley from Charles Schwab, where she helped oversee the launch of that firm's robo advisor platform. Her new title at Morgan Stanley is Head of Digital and she reports jointly to Jim Rosenthal, Morgan Stanley's COO.

"Along with the incredible ability of our advisors and high level of talent across our business, having the right organization in place, with the right senior leaders, is critical to achieving that goal," O'Connor and Saperstein said.
