Bank Advisors on the Move
For bank reps looking to advance their careers, theres no better news than a promotion or a new job offer. Heres a sampling of bank reps who were recently promoted or moved to new organizations to assume roles of greater responsibility.
Edward Costello, BNY Mellon Wealth Management
Edward Costello joined BNY Mellons wealth management team in Chicago as a senior director for portfolio management. He was previously at U.S. Trust, where he was senior vice president and senior portfolio manager.
Paul Goodrich, BNY Mellon Wealth Management
Paul Goodrich joined BNY Mellon Wealth Management as a senior director for business development in Chicago. He was previously a private client advisor and team leader with overall business development responsibility at U.S. Trust.
Trevor Hunt, BNY Mellon Wealth Management
Trevor Hunt joined BNY Mellon Wealth Management to lead business development efforts in Toronto. He was previously with Stanhope Capital in London, where he was senior director of client advisory services and responsible for portfolio management and client relationship management for private and institutional clients around the world.
Drew Maldonado, BNY Mellon Wealth Management
Drew Maldonado joined BNY Mellon Wealth Management as a senior director of business development in Madison, N.J. He works as a sales director principally in northern New Jersey. Maldonado was previously a managing director at Merrill Lynch Global Wealth Management where he ran the equities business.
Christopher McDermott, BNY Mellon Wealth Management
Christopher McDermott joined BNY Mellons wealth management team as a senior director for business development in Palm Beach Gardens, Fla. He was previously a financial advisor with AllianceBernstein in West Palm Beach, and prior to that, he was a co-founder and senior managing director with Bond Street Holdings, a bank holding company that created Florida Community Bank.
Robert Mitchell, BNY Mellon Wealth Management
Robert Mitchell joined BNY Mellon Wealth Management as a managing director and member of the firms national family advisor team in Chicago. He was previously at Northern Trust, where he held several investment management roles over a 25-year period. Most recently, he was a senior portfolio manager and team leader in the firms Global Family and Private Office Group and oversaw $5 billion in assets.
Thomas Ryan, BNY Mellon Wealth Management
Thomas Ryan joined BNY Mellon Wealth Management as a senior director for business development in Seattle. He was previously a financial advisor with UBS Financial Services in Tacoma, Wash.
John and Nathan Quello, First Dakota National Bank
John Quello (right) and his son, Nathan, joined the Loft Advisors team at First Dakota National Bank, a Raymond James partner based in Sioux Falls, S.D. The two were formerly with UBS Financial Services, where they had $325 million in assets under administration and produced more than $1.6 million in annual fees and commissions. John Quello has been in the industry for 34 years. His son joined him in the business in 2000.
Dale Gallimore, Susquehanna Bank
Dale Gallimore joined Susquehanna Bank as a senior wealth advisor in Hunt Valley, Md. He is responsible for developing trust administration and investment relationships. Gallimore previously worked as a financial advisor for VALIC and has 14 years of experience in the banking and financial services industry.
Kenneth Palattao, U.S. Bank
Kenneth Palattao, a former executive of the Mayo Clinic Health System, joined the healthcare solutions team of U.S. Banks Private Client Reserve high-net-worth unit as vice president and healthcare banking specialist. He works with clinics, doctors offices and other medical establishments to help them with their practice and banking needs. He is based in Minneapolis.
Mark Sandvos, U.S. Bank
Mark Sandvos, a trust officer for U.S. Banks Private Client Reserve high-net-worth unit in St. Louis, was named personal trust officer. In his new role, Sandvos administers the trusts of high-net-worth clients, which includes coordinating financial, tax, investment and legal services.
Kevin DeHond, Wilmington Trust
Kevin DeHond joined Wilmington Trusts wealth advisory office in Fishkill, N.Y., as a private client advisor. He provides wealth advisory and investment management services to individuals, families, foundations and endowments with significant assets in the Fishkill area. DeHond was previously with Waverly Advisors, where he worked as an consultant, and prior to that, he was a private wealth advisor for Credit Suisse Private Bank and Morgan Stanley Private Wealth Management.
Dan Driscoll, Wilmington Trust
Dan Driscoll joined Wilmington Trust to manage the sales and service efforts of private client advisors across Central, Western and Northern Pennsylvania. Driscoll oversees six advisors and works closely with regional presidents of M&T Bank, which acquired Wilmington in May of 2011. Driscoll joined Wilmington with more than 15 years of experience in wealth management, most recently serving as a director of Wealth Management at PNC in Harrisburg.
