With our annual ranking, On Wall Street recognizes the efforts of the industry’s elite young talent. Collectively, the Top 40 generated $154 million in annual production and oversaw $26 billion in combined client assets.
We continue our unveiling of the Top 40 Advisors Under 40 list with Nos. 1 to 20.
Advisors who made the list this year came from a variety of firms, including Alex. Brown | Raymond James, Morgan Stanley and UBS. The lion’s share, however, came from just one firm: Merrill Lynch. Seventeen advisors from the wirehouse made the ranking, including this year’s No. 1.

First, a quick word on methodology: Finalists for the ranking were 39 or younger as of Dec. 31, 2019, and were registered with an advisory firm in the employee channel. Production totals were used to determine the rankings. Nominees’ information was confirmed with their employers.
