$242M Morgan Team Goes to RBC

A $242 million Morgan Stanley advisor team left the wirehouse for RBC Wealth Management.

Janet F. Kirk, senior vice president of the Kirk Group, has taken her team to RBC's office in Southpointe, Pa., as part of the firm's expansion efforts in the region, RBC says.

"RBC Wealth Management has been focused on growing and expanding in the Pittsburgh area -- an important market for the firm," Tom Sagissor, director of RBC Wealth Management’s north/central division says.

The team had $1.7 million in annual production while at Morgan Stanley, according to RBC.

Prior to joining Morgan Stanley in 2009, Kirk worked for Citigroup, Legg Mason, Beacondsfield Financial Advisors and Butcher & Singer, where she began her career in financial securities in 1978, according to FINRA BrokerCheck records.

Also making the move is Kirk Group Senior Business Associate Anne Hassenfeldt and Client Associates Nancy Sutton and Beth Wishard. RBC recently lured a Stifel team with an annual production of $2.3 million.
