A former Wells Fargo team overseeing $288 million in client assets joined Janney Montgomery Scott, the firm said, the third addition of note in as many months.
The three-man team will join the Philadelphia-based firm’s Connecticut branch. The office tallied 14 new hires in the past 12 months.
Sullivan Investment Group, headed by Timothy J. Sullivan, senior vice president of wealth management, focuses on retirement planning for small businesses, corporations and non-profits, according to a release.
George Keith, Janney's Connecticut complex manager, said the team has a reputation for exceeding client expectations.
“With the industry knowledge and client service philosophy they’ve demonstrated, they are tremendous additions to the Janney team,” he said in a statement.
Wells Fargo Advisors declined to comment.
The group has a combined 100 years of industry experience. Timothy Sullivan started his career as a stockbroker with Paine Webber, now UBS, in 1967, according to Janney.
First vice president Paul Sullivan joined Wells Fargo in 2000, according to BrokerCheck records, while vice president Christopher Peters started with the wirehouse in 2008.
