$300M Merrill Breakaway Team Joins HighTower

HighTower has added a husband-and-wife wealth management duo to its New York City office.

RJ Wealth Management has been added as the newest member of the HighTower partnership and the eighth to join the New York headquarters, the Chicago-based advisory partnership and platform provider announced Monday. The team, led by husband and wife Jeffrey Vogel and Ruth Berger, comes from Merrill Lynch where they managed roughly $300 million in assets.

“HighTower’s innovative business model represents the best of both worlds for RJ Wealth Management and our clients: independence backed by the support of a leading national financial services firm,” Berger said in a statement. “As partners at HighTower, we gain access to a unique platform that blends sophisticated wealth management advice with innovative technology so we can provide our clients with an unobstructed view of the financial marketplace.”

Joining with RJ Wealth Management are registered senior client associate Sadie Lanzet and client associate Chris DiCostanzi.
