HighTower has picked off $320 million New York-based Merrill Lynch team LCK Wealth Management for the partnerships third addition in as many weeks.
Fast-growing advisory partnership and platform provider HighTower, which now has 41 teams, has doubled its business development team this year and will add a fifth salesperson in the coming months, says executive vice president Mike Papedis.
LCK head Laurie Kamhi, a 30-year industry veteran, will join HighTower as partner and managing director. Senior financial analyst Christine Torrey and senior private wealth associate Karman Tong will also move over to the New York and Chicago-based partnership and platform provider.
In a press release Kamhi described LCK, previously part of Merrill Lynch Wealth Managements Private Banking & Investment Group, as having white-glove service and a commitment to bottom-line results.
