A BlackRock Exec Hits the Books

Classes may be coming to an end for millions of students this month but it is just beginning for one BlackRock executive.

Peter Fisher, the former head of fixed income at BlackRock, who in February joined the company group that provides market research and analysis, will take a teaching role at Dartmouth College’s Tuck School of Business.

Fisher starts as senior fellow at the Center for Global Business and Government on July 1, Hanover, New Hampshire-based Dartmouth said in a statement.

Lauren Post, a spokeswoman for New York-based BlackRock, said in an interview that Fisher will continue as a senior director at the BlackRock Investment Institute.
