American College Launches New CFA Prep Program

Advisors have a new way to prepare for the Chartered Financial Analyst exam.

The American College of Financial Services has launched Analyst Success, an Internet-based preparatory program for the CFA exam that includes self-guided and instructor-led packages.

Resources for the new program include videos for application exercises, personal mentors, live online problem-solving webinar classes, video instruction, and eBook technology supplemented by hard-copy workbooks.

The educational toolkits for the June 2014 Level I exam will be released on November 4. Level II and III packages will be available in the fall of 2014.

Analyst Success will use a custom platform designed by LoudCloud Systems, which will allow students to sample available content and select parts of the program best suited to maximize study time.

"Time management is critical in preparing for CFA exams, and a personalized analytics dashboard will help candidates stay on track,” American College President and CEO Dr. Larry Barton said in a statement. "By blending access to personal mentors with advances in mobile learning, the Analyst Success program can lead to a more effective result for those seeking their CFA charter.”
