Beverly Hills Wealth Management Snags Morgan Stanley Team

Beefing up its presence in Sacramento and Newport Beach, Calif. Beverly Hills Wealth Management has lured the Sullivan Wealth Management Group from Morgan Stanley.

Headed by partners Brad Sullivan and Ed Bunting, the Sullivan team is expected to bring with them about $110 million in client assets.

“Sullivan Wealth Management Group’s reputation for outstanding service to some very high-profile clientele speaks for itself,” BHWM CEO Mag Black-Scott said in a statement. “We know that our platform can stand head to head against any other option for advisors going independent from the wirehouse environment, and welcoming a group like this validates that.”

Sullivan joined Morgan Stanley in 2007, following stints at PIMCO and Wachovia Securities. He is the son and former business partner of Tom Sullivan, the host of The Tom Sullivan Show on the FOX Business Network and FOX News Radio.

Also a former business associate of the FOX personality, Bunting leads Sullivan Wealth Management’s financial and estate planning efforts. The business relationship between Bunting and Brad Sullivan dates back to 2005.

“BHWM was the logical choice for us, after a thorough review of our options,” Sullivan said. “They offer an environment that has all of the many positive elements of wirehouse life we had come to rely on, while also offering independence, ownership, experienced support staff and marketing tools.  The Maestro platform they built was the cherry on top.”

A full-service hybrid RIA, BHWM has offices throughout California and in Florida and Arizona. Its services are tailored to high net worth and ultra-high net worth investors.
