BISYS to be Renamed Ascensus

Following its acquisition by J.C. Flowers, BISYS Retirement Services will be renamed Ascensus, which is Latin for “moving forward.” Over the coming months, the BISYS name and logo will be gradually phased out.

The aim is to convey Ascensus’ “forward-looking business strategy, which continues to evolve the company beyond its core administrative solutions,” the company said.

“Our transition to Ascensus is pretty straightforward,” said Ascensus President Bob Guillocheau. “It represents our new opportunities as a privately owned company and division of Crump Group, while also staying true to our core identity as a leading provider of retirement solutions for company-sponsored retirement plans and financial institutions.”
