BNY Adds Retail Sales Chief

BNY Mellon Investment Management has hired Andrew Provencher as Head of U.S. Retail Sales, a newly created role in which he will be responsible for leading all sales and relationship management through the Dreyfus platform focusing on national wirehouse firms, Registered Investment Advisors, independent broker-dealers and private banks.

Provencher will be based in New York City and report to PeterPaul Pardi, head of BNY Mellon Investment Management Global Distribution.

Joseph Fuschillo, executive vice president of broker/dealer distribution; Dave DiPetrillo, RIA, Bank Trust, and Offshore Sales Director at BNY Mellon Investment Management; and Chris O’Connor, who heads separately managed accounts, trading and sales operations, will all report to Provencher, according to a BNY spokeperson.

Provencher joins BNY Mellon from Gold Bullion International where he headed business development since 2011. Prior to that, he was with Neuberger Berman for 18 years in a series of sales positions including National Sales Manager for Managed Accounts, Director of Business Development, and Head of the Advisor Solutions Group, Intermediary Distribution and Strategic Relationships groups.

The Dreyfus Corporation was established in 1951 and currently manages some $294 billion.
