Delaware Changes Names of Eight Funds

In an effort to increase its name recognition among retail investors, Delaware Investments announced today that it is changing the names of its six Voyageur funds and two Delaware Group funds to include ‘Delaware Investments.’

All of the funds are managed by Delaware Management Co., an affiliate of Delaware Investments. The name change, which is effective Dec. 1, is part of broad branding initiative, according to Delaware. The firm has also increased advertising, implemented a uniform logo and graphic throughout the firm, and adopted a new slogan, ‘Powered by Research.’

‘Delaware Investments’ will replace Delaware Group and Voyageur in the names of the eight funds. The funds that are changing are the Delaware Group Dividend and Income Fund, the Delaware Group Global Dividend and Income Fund, the Voyageur Arizona Municipal Income Fund, the Voyageur Colorado Insured Municipal Income Fund, the Voyageur Florida Insured Municipal Income Fund, and the three Voyageur Minnesota Municipal Income Funds.
