Scudder Kemper Investments of Boston has formed a partnership with DLJdirect of Newark, N.J. such that DLJdirect will serve as Scudder's discount broker, Scudder announced last week.

Scudder's discount brokerage, Scudder Financial Services of Boston, will begin operating as "DLJdirect for Scudder Investments" on Feb. 5. Investors will have access to their accounts through an 800 number or on-line at www.scudder.dljdirect.com.
DLJdirect is the online brokerage service of Donaldson, Lufkin & Jenrette of New York.
DLJdirect will assume responsibility for 15,000 existing Scudder brokerage accounts with a total of $1.5 billion in assets and for all of its new customers.
