The Dow Jones Industrial Average shot up 95.51 points Tuesday to close at 12,837.33 while techs stocks drove the Nasdaq up 34.43 points to finish at 2,929.76.
The S&P 500 added 13.20 points to end at 1.357.98.
In economic news, the Commerce Department reported that housing starts declined 4.8% in May to an adjusted rate of 708,000 units, slightly below the 720,000 units most economists had predicted.
