Dow Jones Indexes last week was named the “Most Innovative ETF Index Provider” for the Americas region at the 8th Annual Global ETF Awards.
Last year, Dow Jones Indexes licensed 30 indexes including Dow Jones U.S. Thematic Market Neutral Indexes, licensed to FFCM LLC, and Dow Jones U.S. Dividend 100 Index, licensed to Charles Schwab.
The Chicago-based firm also expanded its product line in 2011 with the Dow Jones Credit Suisse Core Hedge Fund Index, the Dow Jones FXCM Dollar Index and the Dow Jones Global Commodity Equity 100 Index.
“Our recent introductions continue our long history of innovation, and further extend our leadership in categories such as commodity, dividend and strategy-based indexes,” stated Michael A. Petronella, president, Dow Jones Indexes. “This award helps to spotlight our continued role in charting the course in the indexing industry.”
