Dow, Nasdaq Plunge

The Dow Jones Industrial Average tumbled 250.82 points Thursday to finish at 12,573.57 while the Nasdaq and S&P 500 fell 71.36 points and 30.18 points, respectively.

All 10 S&P sectors lost ground as the market suffered through its second-largest decline of the year.

In economic news, the Labor Department reported that weekly jobless claims declined a tad last week but the four-week moving average rose to its highest level so far this year.
