The Dow Jones Industrial Average lost 24.75 points Thursday to close at 12,602.26 while the Nasdaq and S&P 500 trimmed 25.83 points and 2.81 points, respectively.

In economic news, the Commerce Department reported that GDP improved at a 1.9% annual rate – flat from May. Weekly unemployment claims declined 6,000 to a seasonally adjust 386,000 claims.

  • Down 5.10% from its 52-week high of 13279.32 on May 01, 2012.
  • Up 18.27% from its 52-week low of 10655.30 on October 03, 2011.

  • Year-to-date: up 3.15% (rounded).
