Fidelity’s National Financial Unveils myStreetscape Portal

National Financial, Fidelity Investment’s clearing and custody company, announced a new myStreetscape portal for investors working with brokers who use the Streetscape platform.

The new myStreetscape portal has mobile capabilities so investors can access their account information from their smartphones. The portal is customizable for both investors and broker-dealer firms, so that broker-dealers can add their own branding, Fidelity said.

Other features of the new portal are a customizable positions page, allowing investors to show whatever elements are most important to them without having to scroll; a markets and research overview page; streaming quotes and news, and more in-depth stock, ETF and mutual fund screeners.

All these new features are “designed to foster communication and collaboration between brokers and their customers,” Fidelity said. Fidelity cited findings in a report from Forrester Research showing that investors want to be more actively involved in their investments. The report also showed that investors are increasingly using their mobile devices to stay on top of their portfolios.

“We are implementing the next phase of our technology strategy to deliver innovations for today’s investors and their brokers,” said Richard N. Hart III, senior vice president, platform solutions, National Financial. “The enhancements also will help brokers increase productivity and efficiency by enabling them to spend more time building their businesses and less time on administrative tasks.”
