In this clip, financial advisor Melissa Joy of Dexter, Michigan-based Pearl Planning spoke with FP Chief Correspondent Tobias Salinger about the expansion of her firm, a nine-employee team that recently added its first male staff member. In terms of investing, Joy said she sees opportunities in bonds amid high interest rates, inflation and fears of a recession.

She also discussed which sessions at the conference stood out to her. Her list of standout panels included a discussion about how to create a more inclusive industry and another on the best methods of investing in emerging markets.
