FP's January 2026 CE quiz now live for financial advisors

Advisors looking to begin the year by checking off CE requirements can now access Financial Planning's January 2026 quiz, which is accredited by the CFP Board and the Investments and Wealth Institute.

The quiz tests advisors' knowledge across a range of financial planning topics through a self-study review of recent Financial Planning coverage, with an emphasis on practical applications. Those who take the January quiz will learn about tax-gain harvesting, Section 351 ETF exchanges, ABLE account updates, the SEC marketing rule, corporate tax rates and more.

The January quiz is based on the following six articles:

To earn one hour of CE credit, participants must answer at least eight of the 10 questions correctly and have their CFP or IWI ID numbers available to submit their results. 

To earn even more CE credits — up to 12 credits a year — visit Financial Planning's archive of active quizzes. All quizzes expire within 24 months of their original publication.
