Global X Launches ETF Focused on Canada’s Exchange for Emerging Companies

Global X Funds on Thursday launched the Global X S&P/TSX Venture 30 Canada ETF, an exchange-traded fund that targets companies on Canada’s junior exchange for emerging companies, the TSX Venture.

The fund offers investors a wide range of commodity exposure, as there are a number of exploration and junior mining companies listed on the TSX Venture exchange.

“We are pleased to provide the first vehicle that easily tracks the S&P/TSX Venture 30 Index,” said Global X Chief Executive Officer Bruno del Ama. “Our innovative product allows investors access to a previously difficult-to-trade, illiquid market.”
